Designer to Watch: Hasan Hejazi

Freshly graduated from the London College of Fashion, Hasan Hejazi is the latest addition to the ‘next generation’ of inspiring British designers. His Spring/Summer 2011 Collection features powerful yet sensual bondage garments pared back to three main colors: crisp white, blue/black and deep rich magenta. Inspired by leading 90’s supermodels, the collection consists of figure hugging pieces- sporty bodices, skirts and dresses. We are left intrigued with the clever juxtaposition between the exposed zippers, masculine utility belts, striking panels mixed with elegant mesh detail, silk satin and flowing sheer fabrics; creating well defined, edgy and playful garments for the contemporary woman.
