Esra RØise

Here at The Social Code, we love discovering fresh new illustrators so when we were introduced to the work of Esra Roise, we were instantly mesmerized by the way she has perfected the use of watercolor and pencil to create relaxed and fluid paintings. We were left in awe by the way Roise cleverly uses light and shadows to model her figures, thus creating detailed and dreamlike pieces.

“I’m inspired by seemingly small unimportant everyday situations, and snapshot photography with their impulsiveness, bad cropping and weird angles. People around me, the fashion industry, music, awkward moment and imperfections.” Roise comments on where she finds inspiration.
